For my current assignment, I have to do the performance testing for the Java based web application which is hosted on the Tomcat server. Since, the organization that I am working for does not have any proprietroy tool for the performance monitoring so it's upto me to find out the feasible tool for the same. Can anybody kindly suggest which tool can be used for the performance monitoring for a Java based web application which is hosted on the Tomcat server ?

Vugen scripting to include Java script functionality
Hi,
I have to create Vugen script for upload a document to amazon S3 from various systems/Applications, but the amazon SDK and the upload code they have provide is in Java script library. In this Java script uses, JQuery in many places to get the session token, document URL etc.
We have Web 2.0 license bundle for my client, I have created a script in Web (HTTP/HTML) and used the web_js_run() function to run the Java script and got the error ""TypeError: document is undefined"."
Then in the forum, I found that, "document is an object provided by browser. LR does not support that object. It's possible to provide a mock document object using scripting, but it can't behave like a real brower document object".
Please let me know how to create mock document and handle this situation.

how to enable COOKIE
hi,
just want to ask if how you guys handled this situation.
when im recording/scripting an application in a cloud i encountering a WINDOWS Security WARNING that i need to "allow" it but i looked in the RUNTIME VIEWER for any setting regarding cookie to all COOKIES.
but if i manually go to RUNTIME VIEWER go to that step and click YES the page renders properly.
where is the setting in loadrunner that you can select YES for that warning?
loadrunner didnt record that pop-up/portion everytime i do recording
any advice?

Controller Version 12.00 and Load Generator Version 12.01
Hi All,
I was developing scripts on 12.00 and running on 12.00 Load Generators, But recently u have been give 2 machines woth Windows 12. I am not able to install 12.00 on Windows 12, but with few errors 12.01 got installed and my controller is able to connect to that machine, but its not running the scripts developed in 12.0
So i copied the 12.0 scripts to the 12.01 load generator machine and opened it and ran it once and then ran it from the 12.00 controller again and still the same message. has anyone see this error before? is there a solution?
can a 12.00 controller woth with a 12.01 Load Generator?
How do i make this work?

Not able to replay in vugen - getting cci error

I'm able to record the flow in vugen but couldn't able to replay in vugen getting following error -
"Error: Vuser compilation failed. Please set CCIDebug to Off in CCI section of mdrv.dat file.
Warning: Extension cciext.dll reports error -19797 on call to function ExtPerProcessInitialize
Error: Thread Context: Call to service of the driver failed, reason - thread context wasn't initialized on this thread."
I haven't done any code modification or correlation.
Protocol - Oracle - 2 Tier
Vugen tried - 11.52 Patch1
& also tried with 12.02, 12.50
Os - windows 7
Please help me to resolve this error.

Citrix Recording Issue - Unsupported Function
Hi,
While recording the citrix application, we are encountering “Unsupported Function” message. please find tool details below.
Citrix version -7.5
LoadRunner - 12.02
Am looking for a suggestion other than the below mentioned activities which i already tried.
- Before recording, we have killed running wfica32.exe and wfcrun32.exe processes and have also checked that the process do not auto start again.
- We killed all running citrix related processes in task manager then I tried to record the citrix but no luck.
- As it is a web+citrix based application, we used multi-protocol option and tried with the below different settings in recording options.
- Recording
- HTML based
- URL based
- Configuration
- Encryption Level – Server Default & 128 Bit
- Window size – 1024 * 768
- Mapping-> Capturing Level –>
- Socket level
- WinINet level
- both combination
- we have also try to record with different Recorder modes like web browser & Windows Application options.
- Try to recorded with different browsers like Chrome & Internet Explorer.
- Got one more suggestion like disabling the Antivirus before recording the citrix application.
- Also tried with below Data Execution Prevention options in control panel settings.
- Turn on DEP for essential windows programs & services only
- Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select.

NOTE- Intermittently we are getting snapshot1 pop ups but however we are facing issue as snapshot 2 in the attachment.

Hi Team,
We have the tests with 20 Vusers. We have a requirement to trackdown the Performance numbers for each user( in LoadRunner 12.02). Can someone throw some light on the following?
- Alternatives for Crystal reports (Not available in LR 12.02)?
- How to use VuserID,iteration number to capture the performance number for each user?
- Anyother option to trackdown till user level?

Unable to launch application in LoadRunner using IE
I am trying to record a web application using Load Runner on the Internet Explorer. Though the application is opening just fine in manual mode, it's not opening up using Load Runner even though IE is getting launched and I am getting a 'The page can't be displayed' message. The same is rvident for any others sit as well like google or yahoo. Can anybody suggest me a resolution for this problem ?

Turning off notification messages in replay?

I have a Citrix ICA script where I have logging turned off. However I keep getting messages filling up my replay log related to image sync:
for example: "Action.c(24): Notify: Image synchronization succeeded, 100 percent match, Tolerance = Medium."
How do I turn these messages off so they don't appear in the replay log?

Conversion to TruClient-Web protocol
Hello!
LoadRunner 12.50 introduced a new protocol called "TruClient-Web" which replaced the "TruClient-Firefox" and "TruClient-IE". Id addition the "Ability to convert TruClient-Firefox or TruClient-IE scripts to TruClient-Web" was declared.
I can't find the way how this conversion can be done. I did not find the answer in documentation. "Tools > True Client Conversion Tool" seems does dedicated for this operation either.
Could some one tell how to do this operation?

Server Response is not displayed for particular aspx page in tree view in LR9.5
I am facing issue in viewing the server response for one particular page in tree view-Submit_Data:ServiceRequest.aspx but i am able to view page view of the same page.
Using Load Runner 9.5 and IE 8.
For rest other pages i am able to view the response.
Could you please help me to resolve this issue?
