Is there still no work-a-round, hot fix, etc. for this issue? Security policy makes it impossible to change this in the Remote Desktop settings for servers. Thanks!

Cannot generate the 8 users that I had asked for
I'm attempting to go through the Load Runner tutorial published 0n 8/15. On page 48 it talks about the Scenario Groupspane. I see a Scenario Scriptspane. I assumed that the title was changed and nobody caught it. No big deal. But when I click the Details button there is no Group Name in the Script Information window. Once again I assume "No big deal" But when I run the load test scenario (pg. 61) and look at the diagram on that page I don't have any number under the Group Name travel_agents. I should have the number 8 there. I decided to run it anyway to see what happens. It generated 4 users, rather than the 8 users I asked for. I assume that 4 is the default.

Java over HTTP Protocol - No script generated
Hi,
I am evaluating HP Loadrunner for our client's application.
I am using HP Loadrunner community edition 12.5 version and Java version 7.
Its a Java Web start application and I am using Java over HTTP Protocol.
While recording, the application launches successfully, however no events/HTTPrequests are getting recorded
The generated script is empty.
Need Help.

LR v12.50
1. LR 12.50 community edition is not able to record script for HTTPS protocol based application. The events count keeps on increasing but when recording is stopped no script is available.
2. How could I download and install LR prev version...say 12.02. Whenever I try the link with "download and install LR12.02" the webpage for installation of LR12.5 is shown.
3. Why Truclient scripts are failing each time with different reason. If wait time is increased then in some cases it works fine..but i think increasing wait time to make the script pass is not a good practice!!!!

Loadrunner 12.50 "There is no valid License"
I purchased loadrunner licenses through HP Saas, Executed a test early this morning. Now I cannot reopen the controller. I am getting a pop up "There are no valid license". How is this possisble when 12.5 has 50 Community Licenses?

LoadRunner - Support Tip: Custom DFE (Data Format Extension)
LoadRunner as a product has the capability to handle different data formats that are present in the communication data trace but is necessary to enable the DFE Data Format Extension option in the recording options.
Even nowadays they are more and new data formats and in this case LoadRunner its flexible and allows to develop any data format that uses the application under test by develop a new DFE in Visual Studio.
For details about how to create new DFE pleas use the developer guide located in the next path. Is necessary to install LoadRunner in order to access the guide.
Start Menu -> Programs -> HP Software -> HP LoadRunner -> Documentation -> Data Format Extensions Developer Guide
In the moment to append and add the new dll in the LoadRunner installation path and when it will be ready to use the DLL in VUGEN (Code Generation) the DLL need to be in "release" mode.

Trouble following LoadRunner Tutorial - Recording

I'm trying to learn how to create scripts in LoadRunner VUGen. And I'm recording HP Web Tours in IE as per:

Vugen Error : JRE is not found. Version 1.5 or higher is required.

Reset user session in Web(http/html) script
VuGen version = 12.x
Protocol: Web (HTTP/HTML)
We have recorded/developed a web(http/html) script using VuGen 12.x. The application does not have explicit logout feature like LogOut link or button. The user story requires different application users to perform different actions.
Login with User 1, execute step 1, Step 2
Login with User 2 execute Step 3
Login with User 3 execute Step 4 , Step 5
So we are trying to end one user session and start another user session with a different user in this script. We are using web_set_user function to set the user for the session and using
web_cache_cleanup();
web_cleanup_cookies();
web_cleanup_auto_headers();
to end user session.
Is there other set of functions to end user session in a web script ?

unable to capture the action in LR
Hello,
I am using LR 12.50 to run the record for our web application. But LR is unable to capture the actions and during the generated script, there is no exact actions that I recorded.
For example, in login page, I input username admin and password admin, but in generated script and replay, I am unable to get this actions.

'Get Flash' while trying to capture user actions through TruClient protol
Hello,
I am trying to capture user actions from flash / flex + html 5 website (kronos) applicaiton. It throws 'Get Flash' message when I start recording.
It works manually with FireFox. I have also placed the latest NPSWF32.dll in <>bin\firefox\plugins folder and same in gecko folder
Any other suggestion?

GENERAL_MSG_CAT_SSL_ERROR connect to host failed: Connection reset by peer
Hi All,
I am using LR 12 and web HTTP/HTML protocol.
I created the performance scripts around 6 months back and completed the initial round of performance testing. Now i have to re-run the scripts in a different environment for the same application. I have now parametrized the server name or URL. I am getting the below error:
GENERAL_MSG_CAT_SSL_ERROR connect to host "xxxxxxxx" failed: [10054] Connection reset by peer
I have already included the statement
web_set_sockets_option("SSL_VERSION", "TLS");
I have verified the SSL Version of the website and it shows as TLS 1.2 and changed the TLS version in the statement accordingly
web_set_sockets_option("SSL_VERSION", "TLS1.2");
I am still getting the same error. However i am able to run the scripts in WinInet level but i need to run the scripts in Socket level which i did for the 1st time.
Any advise will be appreciated
