Hi Everyone,

 case 1: we are using oracle web protocol to test the Oracle Hire to retire module, we observe at least 30 dynamic values being generated in each request and we have at least 10 such request for each navigation. when we correlate each value it is some times fails at some point and debugging is becoming very difficult and moreover it is taking lots of time to develop a complete script and given time frame is very short.

 

and case 2: we are using oracle nca+ web(http/html) to record form based navigations, LR is not recording any thing on IE some times and if records it records till web part not the forms. when we record using mozilla, some correlations are not being captured even though we place web _reg_save_param on top of right parent request as shown in code gen log.

Has anyone worked on this kind of application please let us know what process followed to handle these huge number of name value pairs and these forms

we are using LR 12.50 version

JDK : 1.7

IE 11

When i'm executing Trueclient script in controller,I am able to see the developer mode opening and showing the screen.

Please let me know how to disable it.

Does Load runnner 12.02 supports Chrome version 50.0.2661.102 m.? Because I am not able to record the Script for this configuration.

Hello All,

I have recoreded an Oracle ADF application using Web(HTTP/HTML) protocol. Correlated below values:

1)SesssionID

2)_afrLoop

3)_adf.Ctrl-State

My script is replaying good but nothing is getting updated in my DB. I am unable to correlate "ViewState"". The web_reg_find() is also failing in Launch itself. Please help me...Please.

 Hi

When i'm executing Trueclient script in controller,I am able to see the developer mode opening and showing the screen.

Executing 10 user is opening 10 developer view in controller which is causing 100% CPU consumption.

Please let me know how to disable it.

Hi,

While recording SAP UX web application - events are capturing, but script was not generating in LR 12.02.

I tried different settings like -

1. Under recording settings selected "Nework - Mapping and Filtering" under that

2. Capture level : selected Socket level and WinlNet level data

3. Click on "options" button uncheck the default settings

Based on this settings I am able to record the envents but script not generating.

 

Application: SAP UX Web

LR Tool Version : 12.02

Protocol: SAP Web

 

Please help me on this

Working with LoadRunner 12.50 and using TruClient to record scripts, I discovered a probable bug in an if-else workflow. To be precise, I have the following if-else workflow:

 



In the 'if' step, I am trying to identify an object using descriptors (first red box). Depending on the result, one of the two following steps are being executed.

However, when I click on "Click here to edit" to edit the descriptors of identifying an object in the first red box I can edit e.g. the ID:

 



But afterwards, also the descriptors for the else-clause (second red box) are being changed accordingly!

Again: When I edit the descriptors of the if-clause, the descriptors of the else-clause change as well. I am not able to change the descriptors of one box seperately! I hope my description is clear...

Is there a workaround of this probably bug? Otherwise I cannot use the if-else clause...?

Is this bug known to the LR team?

 

Additional information: I tried to replace the else-action by a kew function "Generic Object Action", which does not solve my problem. A change for the descriptors in the if-block changes the descriptors in the else-block again...

I am trying to run a command line program in Vugen using the java protocol(Java Record and Play).

Although, I have logging disabled, this still writes some output to the system.out on the console and create a stdOutErr where everything is logged that would have otherwise been written to the console in a dos cmd program. 

This seems to cause huge stdouterr files when run for mutiple users.. I am looking for a way to disable or stop anything being written to the stdouterr file. Something similar to an echo off to suppress output. How can this be acheived. Below is the LR script using Java protcol.

I have a TruClient IE script. I want to "Exit" the script, when the value in dropdown list is not same as it is defined while developing the script.

Hi,

We have an generic function library that we use as part of our suite of test scripts.

In globals.h, we are referencing that library via:

#include "Z:\\loadrunner\\lib\\c4_lib.c"

In order for this to work, I physically need Z:\\loadrunner\\lib\\c4_lib.c on each of the injcectors.   I take it the library files are not copied with the script like the paramater data files are?

If it doesn't copy, then I'm a bit skeptical about using a UNC path as I don't want to make my scripts susceptible to network issues if I used the likes of \\\\server\\share\\loadrunner\\lib\\c4_lib.c   I don't like the idea of copying the lib file and making it as part of the script as it defeats the purpose of sharing one common library.

What is the recommended approach when using external libraries?

I have the problem below during replay a Web-SAP script,

I have a calendar object which TC seems to balk at.  

For one click on this object I get all of the lines you see below in VuGen/controller.  Functionally, It works fine, just throws a lot of errors - any ideas on how to make this go away?

Hi,

I would need to start a new transaction every 5 minutes, which includes think time and response time, but could not find a way to do so. I tried adding think time but that does not meet my need.

Appreciate if anyone could help on this issue.

I tried to create rule library and try to correlate by regenerating. I am getting an error message saying "unable perform scan for correlation. reason failed to apply correlation.

Im using Lr 12.2

Hello,

I am in need to automate and performance test SAP BO Analysis for excel reports.

 

To elaborate, the scenario is as below -

1. I login to the SAP Business Objects system using a URL through browser.

2. Once authenticated the SAP Business Objects system sends a file with extension '.sapaox'.

3. This file is opened using Analysis for Microsoft excel (This is basically Microsoft excel with a plugin fron SAP which has the ability to communicate with SAP Business Warehouse systems).

4. Once the file is opened I do certain modifications that leads to fetching of the data from the SAP Business Warehouse systems.

 
Based on the description above the scenario deals party with web related protocol and another kind of protocol to deal with the SAP Business Warehouse systems. To provide better clarification I have captured WireShark logs for the same which shows the communication happening in HTTP/XML and TCP protocols. Going through the request and responses sent through the HTTP/XML protocol I see that they are SOAP messages. The SOAP messages exchanged during authentication only (Step 1 and 2). Later onwards its just TCP exchanges. So partly this is clear.

I am working on getting it recorded and will update the post as and when I get something.

Meanwhile any input as to what is the most suitable approch and protocol to be used in this particular scenario.

I've been using LoadRunner 12.53 a bit and I noticed that the Numeric Results are being displayed twice, after "Generate Complete Data" is finished. 

Here's a picture displaying what i mean with that.

Any way of making those dissapear?

Hi all,

The "Performance Overview" section from a generated PDF report is always empty. I tried to check/uncheck all of the options possible, but that table still remains with all values 0. Anyone has any idea why or how to fix this?
