Hi,

I am using Performance Center 12.5 (Build 12.50.10326.0) trying to run a performance test with RTE scripts.  I have observed that I am only able to run between 20-25 vusers per load generator. Example, if I use 4 load generators, I will scale only to 80-85 vusers. Anything beyond these number of users fail to initialize with the error message -

Failed to Initialize. Reason: TimeOut (Error Code -84817)

I have tried both the thread and process option, but don't see much difference. Any solutions for this problem?

Hi,

 

I am working on JAVA record and replay protocol script where .bat file is being used to launch the application. I did environment variables set up and tried recording the application.

Login screen is launched properly during recording but once authentication is success , application launch fails because of below mentioned error.

 

"java.lang.verifyError ;Stack size too large "

 

Could you please help.

My questions are regarding how to use VTS with HP ALM Performance Center/Load Runner 12.02.

What I need to know is;

• Can we use separate data tables in VTS for each Load Runner scripts?
• For an example, TableA for ScriptA and TableB for ScriptB etc?
• How do we make calls to access the data in each table using Load Runner code? I am interested to see code snippets for this. So far what I have seen is ;code snippets for single data set.
• I am hoping to use 1.7 Millions of records for one table. Is this possible?
• If I used big data sets, can I update the sections of data using SQL statements?

If anybody can point me to a guide for using new VTS capabilities (with code snippets in Load Runner) , that would be great.

Hi Experts.

With the new storefront versions and XenApp 7.6, Citrix now increased the security and we will not be able to see the ica file downloading and running on the machine.

With Vugen 12.01 and below I was not able to capture the citrix traffic.

I have raised the issue earlier and an expert suggested me to try with the New LR 12.50 version. I could capture the citrix traffic but ica file is not seen in the generation log or anywhere. The first citrix statement is either nfuse_connect or set_connect_opt. It is varying each time.

Now, the ica file name (VEFVVzAwWEQuU292R2xvYmFsIEQ) is same for any user ID. Record and reply. Manually, each time we launch the published application a different ica file is generated and we are able to do multiple launches with the single user. From tool,  it is creating the same ica file with same name and pulling back the existiing session further killing two session.

I am not able to understand how to handle ica in the storefront 3.4 and XenApp 7.6. Please suggest.

Hi,

I trying to create loadrunner script for mobile native application (UI - OpenGL) using http/html protocol. This is what im doing:

1. record network traffic using snifer (wireshark and tPocketCapture)

2. record script in http/html protocol via Captured Traffic File Analisys with SSL certificate.

In output of this method i have single custom request for authentication token and nothing else. Any one trying to use this method with native mobile application?

LR - 12.53

UI application - OpenGL

all traffic HTTPS Protocol (Port 443)

Sniffers - WireShark 1.12, tPacketCapturePro

I downloaded Loadrunner 12.53 and am trying to install it (full install option in the splash screen). However, nothing happens! It's a Windows 7 Professional machine, 64 bit.

Anyone any thoughts what's going on here? There's no error. When clicking on Full install just nothing happens at all!
(nb I have tried the standard sollutions like reboot, running as admin, running in compatibility mode, etc.)

I get this arning when I try to run a test and want the results to be on a  different directory. What is the implication of this warning and how can I get a new set of results while running the same scenario running again.

I noticed that whileI run a scenario that is running a lot of vscripts with Truclient prototcol. LR 12.53. It takes a significant amount of time to have the vusers exist gradually.

Is there a reason for that? where can I see what the vusers are actually doing while they are in the gradualling exiting status?

Can anyone please explain what is the advantage of testing a API/webservice using webservices protocol over the http/html protocol [ web_custom_request ( ) ].

In my past to load test the webservice , i built my scripts using web_custom_request ( ). Recently my new project has asked me to confirm can we test the API testing using Load Runner. 

If we can do the API / webservice testing using the HTTP/HTML protocol with the web_custim_request ( ) function then we dont have to upgrade our license from web to web2.

hi,

We are trying to record script with activex addons enabled. but while recording its not working, but we can see the status of addons from internet explorer--tools--manage addons as enabled. is there any other setting that we need to do to get addons working.

When we run manually by opening ie then all the addons works.

we have tried protocols http web, ajax truclient,oracle nca,winsock,oracle web

Please help to get addons work in the vugen browser

Hi, I have an application. I tried ecording it with Chrome using Socket level, it gets recorded fine(however it gets recorded in Chrome incognito window). But when I use Socket level to record in IE it cannot even launch the application("Page not displayed"). I then tried using WinINET and it gets recorded in IE. Also when I use WinINET in chrome application works but nothing gets recorded in Action. Please can anyone let me know a proper solution for this also if possible can I know why Socket level works fine in Chrome and not in IE?

I am using LoadRunner 12.53, each LR script is working fine in LR user generator, but in LR controller there are error as blow:

"Error: Exception was raised when calling per-process-init function in extension lr_socks.dll: System Exceptions: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION".

Hi All,

I have run my first scenario on web tour application, but after using the analysis tool,  I have noticed that at the time there are hits on the server there are no throughput and vice versa-you can see that on the period from 20 -25 Second and from 25-30 second-. I do not Know why? Please, I am waiting your answer as soon as possible

Hi,

 I have installed Load runner 12.53 in 8GB , 64 Bit Windows 7 Machine after that I am not able to record any application.

Load runner starts recording but the application is not opening at all.

Hi all, I am getting below error in HP Vugen and unable to find the root cause.

"~One or more files in the scripts folder is in use, preventing script replay. Close the files and try to replay the script again~."

 I tried deleting all the unnecessary files like  (Parameters , *.txt, *.log, *.idx, *.bak, result*, pre_cci.c, combined_*, *.c), but still getting error. First time vugen works fine, when i replay it on second time i am getting this below error.

My version is 12.53, build 1203.

Hi,

I am using LR12.53 to record an application, while recording the application, browser is getting invoked but application is not getting opened. Then I have checked the proxy option in Advanced tab of recording options. Now the application is getting opened and able to navigate through the flow, But now after stopping the recording, the recording is not getting captured, I can only see emplty Action().
