Hi Experts,



Greetings!



Below is the scenario:



There is a batch file (Batch.CMD) in my local machine (say D:\Simulator folder).
When user clicks on the batch file, it will execute a process which sends messages to the server(depending on the properties set in the D:\Simulator\Lib and D:\Simulator\Config folders)
After running the batch file for some time (say 10 mins) I would stop it by pressing CTRL+C.


Now I need the below:

My VuGen script should go to this path and click on (or invoke) the batch file and run it when I replay the script.
When I stop the VuGen script, the batch file should stop running.


Is it possible to do it?

What’s the VuGen protocol to do it?



My goal is to parameterize the directory path of the batch file in VuGen script, so that I have many instances of the batch file (obviously with different properties set in the \Lib and \Config folders) running when I run the script from Controller.



Ideas/Suggestions? Thank you for your time. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have been attempting to record a HTTPS url. Initially when I attempted to record the traffic, I was hit with this error:-

VuGen has detected that the application has encountered the following error:
The SSL Authentication Failed. Try adjusting the Port Mapping settings (Recording Options>Network>Mapping and Filtering)

I tried to do this various ways. 

1. I switched the auto detect off for SSL - THIS FAILED
2. I chose a specific encryption type that I know to be ours - TLS1.3, this failed.
3. I turned off the two options. This failed to pick up any traffic


Currently this is very frustrating and I do not know why this is failing. 

Can someone please help.

Hello,

 

I am facing an issue with trueclient protocol. I have recorded my script in Action, then while enhancing I have separate the login into INIT , followed by steps in main action and then Logout in END. I have cut and paste the steps in INIT and END.

 

The problem is after login in INIT, I am getting a blank page on ACTION, same in case of while switching from ACTION to END. Please let me know how to fix this.

Hi,

We have two applications to be tested for performance. One is built on Vaadin Framework and other on AngularJs,now we want to perform load and other performance test on those, I just want to know whether it is possible to achieve this with LR or not, because I tried recording application, but it did not record the objects. And if it is possible then which version do we have to use.

Hii All,

In My 3hr load test hits per second and throughput went zero after 1.3hrs..Can you please suggest what could be the reason and where I should look for more analysis..

I was able to run my java record replay script in standalone mode in Vugen but unable to run it from the controller. The vusers just error out without running at all. I have the jars installed on the LG but still no luck. What am I missing ?

Can we install the Vugen in Linux server. If possible which version will support.

Can we install the Load Generator in Linux server or not.

I currently use Loadrunner 11.00 Full Version, I would like to upgrade to LR 12.00, Can the same license/license key can be utilized as part of LR12 installation or It is seperate license purchase for LR 12.0.

Hi I tried installing LR12.53 and got error message "CRC failed in 51051380/HPE_LoadRunner_12.53_English.rar Unexpected error of archive"

Let me know how to troubleshoot the error

Hi 

 

I am trying record script using VUgen for  one of my SAP Fiori application (UI5) with SAP web /Web protocol

but when I try to login ,its throwing message wrong username and password in login page

though its working fine when I do it manually.

Please help me on this

Hi All,

In my load test one of my lg reaching 90% CPU utilization by that time all users are up and running and I am keep on getting CPU utilization exceeded message in my error log.

I was able to finish my test successfully with out fail.

My question is here, will it impact my response times and test results?

Kindly provide your valuable suggestions on this.

The analysis download time graph is nice, but it is very hard to to summarize this in to way to explain to managment.  The transaction is short, butall of the pieces and parts that make up the page are hard to quantiry on a larger base.  For example, all of the processes from when a button is clicked (identified as a transaction), to the time the next page is loaded.  Every single url is listed, but hard to sum it up.  I am at a loss to quantify this in an understandable form.

Hi

We have some thoughts about how the "Convert script to Web-HTTP/HTML" works.

As we understand it, it takes the captured traffic during the TruClient recording and creates an ordinary web script of this information. My question is now if there is any additional value to do it this way, other than saving the time for recording again.

So any extra logic or other benefits?

I have an application that requires the IE Compatibility View setting. On my PC with Vugen 12.03, the application works fine in the IE 11 browser outside of VuGen, when Compatibility View is set. However, when I try to record the application in VuGen TruClient IE, the browser there behaves as though Compatibility View is not set.

How do i set the TruClient IE browser in VuGen to IE Compatibility View?

Hi,

I would like to request assistance based on the following situation:

My company has load-test projects which do not require a relatively high quantity of virtual users for load generation:

upto 70 user for Remote protocols like Citrix and RDP and upto 100 VUs for ODBC(Sql) protocol. In addition, we would like to install the LoadRunner(including controller) on a remote server (even if that means that only one tester may use it at a time)

We do not want to commit the resources for installation, server-hosting(and potential required monitoring) as well as the increased pricing that comes with Peformance Center commercial licensing. 

LoadRunner is simpler solution which fits our current needs. However, the licensing prohibits installing LoadRunner on a remote server.

Please advise if there is a means of using LoadRunner on a remote server.

Hi ,

 

i got this much off errors while iam running the hp load runner controller.

plz any one provide solutions for this type of errors.

"Abnormal termination, caused by mdrv process termination."
"Load Generator failed".
Error: "Failed to create worker thread using driver function".
Error: "The transaction server is aborting due to the error: -30937"
Error: "Failed to initialize worker thread. Exit with time out - 300"
