mdrv.exe processes creation
Hi All,
I've 5 scripts in a scenario and configured 10 load generators for all the scripts. That means every script run on every machine. So in this case, how many no. of mdrv.exe processes will be created on each load generator? Would it be based on the no. of scripts or no. of scenarios or something else?
Could you please clarify this? Appreciate early response. Thanks.

Error in response for a web_submit_data while working on a oracle e-biz application
Hi All,
We are working on testing a Oracle e-business application using LoadRunner v11.52.
Currently the script is having an issue with one of the web_submit_data requests, where all the dynamic data has been handled. The response shows this:

We have checked all the values in the request and also verified the headers as well. There was a JSESSIONID being passed in the header, which we removed using the clean auto header function.
Also there are multiple occurances of OAS, is there any significance of this we should be looking at?
Can any one suggest us here with any resolutions, if you have experienced such issues prior.

While running from Vugen i am getting below error however script functionality is working but vugen is throwing below error.

Can I specify an Analysis template (not imported) when calling from command line
Hi,
I'm wondering if it's possible when launching the analysis via the command line, can I specify a template that isn't imported in the LoadRunner analysis?
I have copied the template files from loadrunner, and put them in a directory: C:\LoadrunnerCI\Templates\Percentile90\
When I try any of the variations below, it just brings up the analsys but doesn't create the reports and shutdown the analysis (as instructed in the template configuration).

"No snapshots available" message on Loadrunner 12.53 VUGen

Using loadrunner HP VUG 12.53 Build 1203
My VuSer Script has an number of actions including web_submit_data. Right now, when I replay the script, nothing is returned to the 'Snapshot' pane when I double click on the step in the 'steps navigator'- it just displays 'No snapshots available'.
In Tools > Options > Scripting > Snapshots, the only option I have enabled is 'Enable snapshot viewing'. I tried enabling./disabling some of these but got an error 'Cannot set object reference to an instance..' type thing.
In Runtime Settings under Log, i have all the options ticked and 'Extended Log' selected except 'Print timestamp.. and in 'Miscellaneous' I have 'generate shapshot on error' selected. I also enabled 'Generate snapsots on replay' under the HTTP menu.
I'm aware some actions do not generate snapshots - I know that these snapshots were working previously and did work when I recorded the actions initially, so all this proves is that I was able to view some snapshots at one point!

Dynamic Value in Response Header

I got a dynamic value in server response.
The value in server resonse is as follows,
x-csrf-token: 0FTcidqErDFSk1hTsw0rIw==
I have added the function before request as follows,
web_add_header("x-csrf-token:","0FTcidqErDFSk1hTsw0rIw==");
Since second parameter is dynamic value i tried to correlate on proper request as follows,
web_reg_save_param("XCsrfToken","LB=x-csrf-token: ","RB==","Search=Headers","ORD=1",LAST);
web_reg_save_param("XCsrfToken","LB=x-csrf-token: ","RB==","Search=ALL","ORD=1",LAST);
Here problem is i am unable to correlate the value and unable to find the reason why it is not getting correlated.
Since i am unable to correlate the value i am unable to pass the coorelated parameter to web_add_header function.
Please show me the solution.
It is urgent issue to be resolved.

How to record a RDP session with VuGen when “Network Level Authentication” is enabled?
When we start recording a RDP Session with VuGen (12.50), we get the following error message:
The remote computer requires Network Level Authentication, which your computer does not support.
For assistance, contact your system administrator or technical support.
The remote server uses “Network Level Authentication”.
And for security reasons this can’t be turned off!
Is there a solution or workaround to record a RDP session when this security option is enabled?

Need help with flex/BIN correlation

I have recorded scripts in FLEX protocol and facing issues with correlation.
in the first place, one of the amf call response has huge binary data and while viewing snapshot I see an error :
Response data was not parsed. Binary data presented loadrunner[hence cannot correlate with lr_xml_get_values]
Somehow I can see the dyamic data in the raw response.. The response string excerpt is "\x06P\x01\x06!PRC000717\x01\x01\n"
I want to capture PRC000717, and have not been successful.
Here is what I have tried in correlation and none of them are returning me results.
1. "LB/BIN=\x21","RB/BIN=\x01" [ considering != \x21]
2. "LB/BIN=\x06!","RB/BIN=\x01"
3. Regexp=PRC(.*?),
Where am I going wrong ?

Problems with IBM Cognos Analytics 11.0.4
Hi, I strugle with creating test scripts for Cognos 11. I can't find any relevant info in the net for this version. There is however detailed PDF for previous version 10.1 http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/data/library/cognos/performance/load_testing/page584-pdf.pdf
Does anyone of you already had a chanse to create working scripts for this version of IBM Cognos?

Send Request Headers while Recording
Hi All,
Is there a way to send some Request Headers and their value from the first request, or in other words while the record runs? Whitout these Headers I cannot Authenticate the user and I am not even able to reach the starting web page for the record itself.
The functions web_add_auto_header or web_add_header are useful for the replay and if I limit my script to some URLs they obviously work. But it is really challenging to create a web_submit_data without the help of the recorder.

SRL - Truclient - Out of Memory Error
we are doing a POC to test a Truclient script in stormrunner. Through LR 12.53, Truclient script runs perfect without errors for multiple iterations. But when we run using stormrunner, After 15 mins into the test, it throws
"out of memory undefined exception in TC_NS.Query evaluate snapshot info"
Please let me know if there is any resolution to avoid this error.
FYI - script uses a for loop to iterate certain link click steps n number of times. In additon it uses an Evaluate JS to pass the iteration No in the script steps.
