Hi All,

Script Details:

In my web service script, there are two transactions :

1. A Run Query (similar to database): takes an ID as input and gives a record in output.

2. A web custom request (Request XML).

From the run query (based on an ID which is parameterized), some values are being captured (including timestamps) and are being passed to the web service request.

Problem:

When we run the script in VUGen, it passes for 'n' iterations but in Controller it fails (error: 500 Internal Server)

What might be the possible reasons?

I am facing issues while compiling scripts of JAVA 8 compatible application with Loadrunner 12.01.

Can you please confirm if HP loadrunner 12.01 is compatible with JAVA 8.

Hi All,

I would like to set my https status code as 400 to 200 and I need make pass my request in the script.

Is there any possiblity to change status codes in LR during script execution?

Hi,

I have recorded a script where in an SAML request and response is generated.

The script is running in VuGen but is failing when ran through ALM. The script is only passing is run locally.

A correlation value is not getting captured while running it in the ALM. But if i copy the script in the Load Generator and run it there in VuGen, the script is passing.

I need to know whether VuGen supports SAML 2.0 and what can be done if it does not support.

HI 

I am trying to setup the monitors for a remote Linux Server on Sitescope using Key Based Authentication.

I followed the Sitescope Using Sitescope- manual to set this up.However I get the error message Unknown Error (-1)

Sitescope version - 11.30

Below is the text from RunMonitor.log file

Hi All,

I'm unable to do parameterization because when I recorded the script in vugen with web protocol ,after generating the script in the Vugen ITEMDATA is missing in the web_submit_data. So its not showing the "name" and "value" fields in that ITEMDATA , how can i do parameterizaton for this script ?

I am performance testing an application, after ramp up is done, In controller I start to see text check failures for different transactions (e.g. text=xxxxxxx not found for web_reg_find) continously for two to three minutes and then it automatically stops and transactions relevant to the same text checks start to pass.

I am sure that from server side there isn't any error, since it is not getting captured in my monitoring tool, please advise on what could be the possible reason for it.

Hi, 

I am using TruClient Protocol and I want to copy steps from one action to another action within the same script. I see the Cut, Copy options when i select the steps, but when i go to the other action, I don't see Paste option. Is it possible to copy paste steps within same script in TruClient? I don't want to use fucntion library for doing this, as I run the load test across various LGs and it forces to make sure the library is copied all across those LGs.

I'm trying to record a SAP GUI script for a business process that works fine by hand.

Everything is working until I come to one particular screen where I have to select a cash desk from a popup then hit OK. When I touch it during record it complains about an amodal control and fails to record then crashes.

Suggestions ? Cunning plans?

Dear Team,

I am working on a JAVA RMI based application performance test. I can not use JAVA Vuser protocol of Loadrunner since the source code/classes for this application is not available.

Also, JAVA record /replay protocol is not supporting this application and script is not getting recorded.

Could you suggest if the UFT scripts for this JAVA application can be reused using GUI bundle of performance center.

Scripting with help of UFT is possible for this application. And the only option left is to reuse the scripts of UFT with help of GUI bundle.

Could you suggest.

Hi All,

We recently installed the Vugen 12.53 patch 4 on my machine. The issue is when we stop the script (Http/Html + Flex protocol) in the midway, the script is not getting stopped and all the options are getting disabled. In Background the Hp.utt.Standalone.debugger is still running, until we kill this process then only the run option enables and can re-run the script.

Details:

Vugen Version: 12.53 Patch 4

Vugen .Net Framework version: v4.0

Script: Http/Html & Flex

Operating System: Windows 7 SP1

Windows .Net Framework Version: v4.5.2

Java Version: 1.6

Internet Explorer Version: v11

Hp.LR.VuGen.log file in Temp folder is getting the below error message:

We have a requirement to trigger emails with PDF document as attachment.

I am using SMTP functions (smtp_send_mail) with the below code, but the mail is sent without the attachment:

If someone has used this function, please let me know what I am doing wrong in my case.

Hi All,

After completiong of Web Services execution in Controller i have opened Analysis summary report and Click on "Analyze Transaction Mechanism" - click on Generate Report.

It has generated the report but not able to understand what is "negative correlation with connections"

Please find screenshot for more details and provide answers for this and any one provide in pdf document i will find this type of Errors.

Hi Team,

 

We have the requirement of negative testing as HTTP Status-Code=500 is expected response but currently script get failed for 500 response.

We are using http/html protocol .Let us know is there any way to do same in vugen scripting to expect the 500 response.

Hello All,

I am trying to record scripts od Webtop 6.7 with loadrunner 12.0.

I have applied web_get_int_property( HTTP_INFO_DOWNLOAD_SIZE ); function to get the size of exported document.

I have kept the function above a request which triggers the download of file.

The file size is 13 Kb, but when I replay the web_get_int_property( HTTP_INFO_DOWNLOAD_SIZE ) fucnction is returning around 14 Kb.

I want to know, if the above function provides the exact size of file or any value more than the file size.

I am getting below error while execution of webservices script on performance center.

The script os not giving any issue and executes successfully on VUgen however, it failes during load test execution on performance center.

Following function is added in the script still same error is observed

Hello JavaScript gurus,

Our team has upgraded to 12.53 patch 4.  In this new version we can record in JavaScript in stead of C.  I am not a programmer.  My current issue is, after I created my JavaScript, I want to add a Main action transaction and call all my steps from the Main Action.  Sample below is how it looked.  I have not found what the JavaScript syntax should look like.  I have looked on the web for examples but I didn't see any.  I also tried the conversion tool HP provided and it didn't work.  Your assustance is greatly appreciated.
