I have a Truclient project and need some logic pre-executed for each user for one time.
*For total users for one time is preferred(like a global function).
So, does Truclient has vuser_init and can do such initial for each user?
Does Truclient has vuser_init function and will execute the cutomer's logic in it?

Internal Error - ptVUserVars->_hDfePE is unexpectedly NOT NULL
I've just recorded a Web-HTTP/HTML script in URL mode (LoadRunner 11.52 build 4391).
It automatically adds web_concurrent_start(NULL); and web_concurrent_end(NULL); calls.
But it seems that everytime that a web_url or any other "web_" call is outside a concurrent "section" it fails to replay with this error:
Fatal Error -26499: Internal Error - ptVUserVars->_hDfePE is unexpectedly NOT NULL after xfeLrwSrvNetTaskItemPrimaryCreate. [MsgId: MERR-26499]
I'm new to LoadRunner, so I'm not sure if I did something wrong or if this is intended by design. But if so, then the recorder should not create such situations. Also, this error message could be a lot clearer, I found it tough to figure this out.

LoadRunner Controller 11.50 J2EE/.NET Diagnostics Addin

I have a DIagnostics 9.12 server running on 'System09P' and a user is on LR Controller running on 'System91P' and he's getting the error to 'Please install LoadRunner Controller 11.50 J2EE/.NET Diagnostics Addin'.

Loadrunner 11.52 works with IE11 ?

I have IE11 installed in my machine . I have Loadrunner 11.52 in my machine . I have application Oracle CC&B version 2.3.1
when i try to record the application using LR it is not capturing the events but manually application is working.
1. Please let me know the LR version supporting IE versions
2. Is there any configuration changes I have to do
3. Oracle CC&B application has any one done Performance testing on this application and what is the approach they have followed

.Net AUT exits while scripting - LR 11.51
Hi,
I am trying to record a .net application (Timeshareware) installed in the same machine as LR, i have launched the 'protocol advisor' , the AUT is launched succesfully, user credentials are accepted , but the application throws an error message "Critical Error" - Contact TSW support and the AUT exits upon clicking "OK" on the error message.
But when the application is launched manually with the same user creditials it works just fine.
So why is that the AUT is giving error while analysing with LR? same issue occurs when i try to record using .net or multiple protocols selected.
Help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Error: CCI security error: You are running under secure mode
Hello HP,
Controller& LG’s Version: 11.50 (SP2 installed)
Protocol: FLEX
(Controller & LG’s)OS : Windows server 2008 R2 standard
This is a roadblock for me.
I am getting the below error only for 2 LG's.
Error: CCI security error: You are running under secure mode and the function ci_load_dll is not allowed in this mode.
While I am running the test with 4 LG's , I am getting the above error for 2 LG's only.
When I looked the error thrown LG"s running as Load Runner Process ,even though I changed it back to as Load Runner Agent Service, still shows Load Runner Agent process.
One of other Team used the LG's for to run the test which is Citrix application.
They have installed Citrix Agent on all LG's.

web application **bleep** web service testing using load runner 8.0
I have developed an application of ATM , serviced by web service ATM written in a remote windows server 2008 connected from a wind xp PC. I recorrded script in my PC as load runner is installed in PC and play back the script in the PC.
while load is tested by Vusers 50 it hardly executed with out concurrent refusal. while increase more than 50vusers it strikes error.
errors- internal server error -500 and also some not found errors.
every time the remote server IIS7 is to do security permission, else error strikes.
is the way to test the application from a remote server 2008?
please give any right way to increase the vusers with out erros upto 500 and more.

Performance Modeling
in EMEA we have received a request for performance testing and modeling from a client.
As far as I know performance modeling was done with the help of the Hyperformix. At least
some while ago utilizing input from LoadRunner or some other source.
Are you in the know whether that is still our preferred solution or what the suggested tool set is.
The task is basically to model an infrastructure so that key performance figures (CPU load, memory
consumption, NIC statistics) become predictable.
Any pointers appreciated

Shared data file
I am not sure if I can share the same data file by three groups of users.
Each group using unique set of user ids and cannot be shared by another group. I can create three scripts. Each script will have its own set of user ids. The question is if I can use a single data file as a source and use “Unique” selection of next row so LR automatically assigns user ids accordingly to each group without creating redundant scripts.

In my application I have set of questions that need to be recorded,but that questions answer field is always changing.
example:
question 1-field1, field2,field3 ( only one field you have pass that answer rest all are disable)

the sequence of questions are changing in every iteration.

TruClient script calls function created using "group into new function" fails passing parameters
I have been given the task of learning LoadRunner (sink or swim). We must use the Ajax TruClient protocol for our process. After successfully developing a script, I sought to create functions for repeatable tasks, passing parameters to the functions. So I highlighted the set of instructions that would become a function, right clicked on the the highlighted set, then selected the "Group into new function" menu item. This created my function and allowed me to specify my parameters. Then in my script I used the Toolbox's Function group's Call Function item to add a call to my created function, supplying values for my parameters.
When the script runs the values are not passed and the script fails. I am having difficulty finding information to help me do this correctly. All help is appreciated.

C Vuser - parsing failed even though systax is correct and script runs
I think I've stumbled on a bug in VuGen (Version 11.52 Build 4391).
I was writing C code and got a "Script parsing failed" even though my code was correct. I even ran it and it replayed successfully. But this parsing failed message stuck and it causes lots of "misbehaviors" on VuGen. So I started simplifying my script to nail it down. This is what I got:

What I noticed is that every time I have a criteria (on a while or if clause, for example) that checks for a single char. The parsing fails.
There some crazy conditions that make this bug go away. One I found is to add a double-quote in the next statement or even a comment. From example, in the code above, adding the following comment makes the parsing succeed:
if (str[0] == 'b') //"
str[1] = 'c';
Now to my question... Can you reproduce this? Where do we report bugs to HP LoadRunner?

TruClient transactions slower than Web - HTTP/HTML?
We just started using the TruClient IE protocol using 11.52 and IE10, and are seeing much longer transaction times in the TruClient protocol than for the same transaction run in the Web - HTTP/HTML protocol.
For instance, I scripted up a simple Login script using both Web - HTTP/HTML and TruClient IE protocols. The Login transaction occurs in about 2 seconds using the Web - HTTP/HTML protocol, but the same Login transaction takes over 6 seconds when run using the TruClient IE protocol.
Is there something we need to do to make the transactions run using TruClient run in the same time as in the Web-HTTP/HTML protocol? We've been monitoring the Load Generator PCs, and those aren't being overloaded and creating a bottleneck (we're running only 5 VUsers in the comparison tests, and have 10 Load Generator PCs available).
At this point, I'm unable to trust that the transaction times for any TruClient load test are accurate, so I hope to find out why asap.
