LoadRunner Parameter file path on Linux Host

Hi,

My Web Http/Html script has to read a paramter .dat file from a Linux host, which is also the Load Generator for the test. What kind of file path should be used for the parameter file? Is this sufficient?

/folder/where/controller/has/access/p_paramFile.dat

I will try once I have completed the code. Just wanted to get a headstart on any issue I may face later.
