I just installed VuGen Standalone 12.53 and tried to run LRDetect to check the information. LRDetect produces an empty report. What can i do to fix this? Thanks.

12.53 Truclient script passes in chrome but not IE
Hi,
I am facing an issue wherein a truclient script that was recorded passes in chrome, however, when same script is run on IE from Load mode it gives errors on few transactions. Once it starts to throw errors, the subsequent transactions also seems to be failing as it looks like the script is stuck and not proceeding.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Couchbase database performance testing

Anyone has done performance testing in couchbase database performance which extracts 1.5gb as Json response via web service.
From a old environment service will fetch the data and feed into new system on refresh.
My question is how to test the web service which pull some 1.5 GB as response in json format.

Verifying Excel report download in true client protocol in vugen
Hi Team,
We are not able to verify the excel report download using VERIFY function available in toolbaox in vugen.
Our scenario is ,once we login to the applicaton we are clicking on export report option and once it got clicked and the report in excel or csv format getting downloaded .
Since it is getting downloaded in WIndows OS level ,we are not able to verify the file .(moreover only verify pdf content option is there ,no option available for excel or csv).
Please suugest us how to proceed.

How to capture the expected response if server sends multiple response for the same request?
Hi All,
I am using Mobile Http/HTML and Winsocket portocal in my scipt (Multiport). In development side,they are using asyncronus xmpp calls via TCP socket where they have listener(client side) to capture the response (for that they have timely responses send by the server to the client) and wiat for the expected results from the server which they are expecting.
Issue which i am facing:
I am sending buf10 from client side and receving immidiate response sent by the server(buf11), which is not expcted and i have to wait and read expcted resonse send by server (it may be immidiate response or it may be get required reponse after couple of responses) which is required.
Ex:
lrs_send("socket0", "buf10", LrsLastArg);
lrs_receive("socket0", "buf11", LrsLastArg);
I tried below timeout() and timeout2() functions, but i am not able to achive the expected behavior.
lrs_set_recv_timeout(7300, 0);
lrs_set_recv_timeout2(10,0);
Please suggest me any other alternatives and guide me if i am doing any mistake

Hi, I tried creating scripts with VUGen 12.02 for Siebel application which is using Siebel ActiveX 8.1.1.14., I used IE 11.0 for scripting and I am able to access the application manually from the same browser but getting error while recording the script from VUGen. The error states: "Your version of the Siebel High Interactivity Framework for IE, required for use of this Siebel application, may not be current. In order to download a current version of the Siebel High Interactivity Framework, please ensure that your browser security settings are correct and then log in to the application again. Consult your system administrator for details about the Siebel High Interactivity Framework and correct browser settings". While scripting, I am able to login into the application then getting the above error and could not proceed further. Kindly suggest for the above issue.

TruClient - LR updates Global Libraries even when nto changed
Hi All,
I notice that Truclient updates Global Libraries imported in a script even if they are not changed. The update it does is refreshing a timestamp inside the library.
This is particularly annoying in a context of parallel development of different scripts using that library because if the library is under version control it will be constantly marked as changed and generate conflicts during the merge.
Any suggestion how to avoid this issue?

Adding description of the Scenario in the Analysis Summary of the Summary Report
The Analysis Summary in the Summary Report tab of LoadRunner Analysis display these information:
Scenario Name: ....
Results in Session: ...
Duration: ....
I was wondering if it is possible to also include the description of the Scenario that was added in the Summary Information of the LoadRunner Controller in the Summary Report?

Couldn't open Loadrunner Controller
Hi,
I'm new to Loadrunner, so I started from a tutorial. And I sctucked at the step "Open the HP LoadRunner Controller."
When I click at icon, starting image appearing and nothing happens next: no error messages or system dialogs. It's just hang in there. See screeshot in the attachment: starting window and task manager, process tab.
In the Windows system log this error message has appeared:
HP.LT.Logger configuration failed creating context provider of the type: HP.PC.Security.SSO.AppContextLoggingProvider, HP.PC.Security.SSO
However, I can open VuGen and Analysis, and I was able to record script and redact it in VuGen.
My computer's characteristics are: Windows 7 Professional, ver. 6.1.7601 Service Pack 1 (x64).
Loadrunner version: Community edition 12.53.
What I had tried so far:
- run Controller as Administator,
- run loadrunner installer as administrator for repair
- uninstall Loadrunner completely, delete entries in the System Registry, restart computer, instal Loadrunner again, (run installer with admin rights too), and restart computer again
- enable .NET Framework 3.5
- install Patch 1
- delete .NET Framework 4.6 and iinstall 4.5 as write in the installation guide for Loadrunner.
- run Controller in Compatibility Mode: Windows XP (SP3) , Windows Vista.
- run Contoller from command line with priority Real Time
What should I try next? Any ideas will be much appreciated.

as soon as i hit this command. The telnet session which i was working ON got disconnected and i cant do anything as i donot have a console connection. help me what to do .. thanks a lot

How to control how IE is sized
I'm trying to run a performance test using performance center and truclient 12.53. The issue that I'm having is that IE is only opening up very small. Is there anysetting I can use in truclient/performance center/ or the host (server 2012) to get IE to open up maximized?

Loadrunner 12.53 Cloud Load generator dangerous feature
Currently on multiple projects doing LR testing utlizing Load Generators in the Cloud. Some HP genius decided to put in a feature/button for cloud Load Generators that allows a tester to DELETE AN ENTIRE CLOUD SERVER INSTANCE from the Loadrunenr Controller/Add/Delete Generator option. That is a horrible and dangerous feature to have.
This button needs to be removed from the next service pack and or/release. To view. Launch Controller > Select Load Geneartor > Set up Cloud Perfmisions > Add LG From Cloud Button > Provision New Generator> Cloud Server LG added > Select LG > Click Delete button . Delete Load Generator Pop up window displayed.
Feauture that needs to be removed: Button: DELETE AND TERMINATE Clicking on this button will permananetly delete your entire cloud server VM.
In no way, should a tester have the ability with a simple button click to delete an entire VM instance inside the LR Controller.

Webtop Documentum scripts failing.
Hi Everyone.
I am trying to record and replay Webtop Documentum application in Loadrunner 12.01.
I have applied correlation rule provided by EMC team.
Script is failing to replay at web_submit_data("realtimeprogress.jsp", .
Script fails to perform this step, I have increases step download timeout, still after waitng for few minutes script fails.
Kindly provide some solution to this issue.

Error while replaying script which has login with SAML recorded.
I recorded a loadrunner script, where the user launches the URl ,then login where SAML is involved.
The recording went fine and the steps were recorded correctly. after that i correlated the necessary steps.
Problem is while replaying i am getting the follwing errors :

Can analysis generate 90th and 95th in summary report?
Hi,
When I run the analysis using a template, I'd like to include both the 90th and the 95th to appear on the summary in the summary.html that gets created.
My current process works like this:
1. I run the analysis via the CLI using a template that generates the 90th percentile.
2. I run the analysis via the CLI using a template that generates the 95th percentile.
3. I then parse the both summary.html reports to extract the 90th and 95th seperately.
If say my analysis template takes 20 minutes to compile, I'm looking at 40 minutes of compile time because I have to run the analysis twice.
So, what would be extremely handy if I could generate the lot in one go. And maybe not just 90th and 95. I'd prefer if the solution was clever to add variable percentiles to the summary. So say in 3 months time, I change my mind and want to include 80th percentile; 85th percentile; 90th percentile and the 95th percentile.
I've had a poke around in the *.asc file in my template directory.
If I hack the 'AllHeaders' paramater value, I can add percentile 90th and 95th like such:
AllHeaders=Transaction Name,Minimum,Average,Maximum,Std. Deviation,95 Percent,95 Percent,Pass,Fail,Stop
....I get an error when it tries to run 'parse command error, INdex was outside the bounds of the array'.
So, it obviously doesn't like that but you can see what I'm trying to achieve. There is also some funky SQL in the 'JoinedSelectString' paramater that I could possibly hack?
Any help or suggestions would be greatly apprecaitead.
