Hi Guys,
I'm using Load Runner11 on a windows 7 machine. Whenever I try to record a script, the load runner fails to invoke IE(8).
I have QTP11 installed on my machine. Uninstalling QTP does the job but I need it as well.
I have tried disabling DEP and I cant use firefox. Please HELP!!

We were using LR 11.52 for one of the Application (Http protocol). The responses we receive is UTF-8 compressed in vugen and the same we see under server responses, unable to identify the parameterization values. The question is how do we convert it to plain text...

I am using LR11.52 for windows to support performance analysis of the workflows.
I have the following question:
I have developed a script which runs fine in the Developer GUI. When I replay in the VuGen client a step fails with the message:

t=00076506ms: Error -203256: ** 48: Click on Next >> javascript_link ** failed - target object was not found. [MsgId: MERR-203256]
Ending action Action.
The target object is found fine in the Developer UI when I play the script.
In the step I use in the object: xpath and the xpath is //a[text()="Next >>"]
The HTML in the UI is:

I updated the xpath to //a[contains(text(),"Next")] as I found in the HTML the >> are encoded into >> which I thought might be the problem. But the error still occurs.
What can be the possible reason?
I have to analyze the protocol using protocol adviser in LR for Java application.
I chekced the flow manually, it is working fine. Where as, when I tried to analyze the protocol using load runner, application is not opening at all.
Could any one help me out by giving the corect reason for such kind of behaviour of the application.

I am trying to create a BPM script ( using VuGen 11.51 Build 3392) for a mobile app using TruClientAjax – Mobile protocol. While in ‘Develop Script’ mode the replay seems to work fine and completes. When I close down ‘Develop Script’ mode and try to replay it within Vugen, it fails at a point where it is trying to click on a ‘Continue’ button. I have tried to redefine the location again of this button within ‘Develop Script’ mode, given it an anchor point etc. but still no luck. Anybody got any suggestions as to how to go about troubleshooting it and solving it.

I have attached pic, I took some steps in as UNTITILED GROUP, but I am not getting how to make it optional while executing
Inside UNTITILED GROUP there is one button event I make it as optional, here I want to do a whole GROUP as optional
how to do it?
Actual senario=> after hitting password sometimes it is showing REMIND ME LATER button and I want to catch this event if happen so this is OPTIONAL event and as I am using VuGen 11.0 there is no else avaliable for if loop (so here I can not take whole GROUP in if else)
Hi, I am using LR VUgen 11.52 installed on Windows 7 and when I am trying to record any application using Load Runner proxy, I couldnt see the web application not opening in the mobile and no events recorded in the VUGEN.

I need, Some clarification in the Load runner. I already installed load runner 11.5 trail version. This is expired two days before. I can't get a license key also. Can, I change the Version from load runner 11.5 to Load Runner 9.2.
Can I change this version in My system?
If yes, How can I change and Install?

I´ve purchased a LR license with .NET and Oracle modules. I want to record a simple user navigation in Oracle Forms. When I try to record the script, Load Runner doesn´t record the main applet and the browser (Iexplorer 10) ask for java install, but java is already installed.
When I connect Oracle Forms outside LR, there are not problems...
What should I change?

I am new to Citrix Protocol. When I tried to run the test on Th controller of Citrix application, I am getting the below error.
Error: Citrix client was not found.[MsgId: MERR-91971].
1.Do all the LG's must has Citrix Client installed?
2.What else components should have LG's and Contoller machine & Vugen Machine alone?

The app is designed in a way the client will send requests to server to check for a availability of a request resource unless the server responds with weather Yes or No. Consider this as call whether the requested report is generated or not, the server will respond with something like "Working on your request" unless it creates the report or deny the request.
There will be two or more such isReadyorNot type of calls based on many factors, let us keep it to 2 call for this example.
I'm setting a flag in poll_1_ResponseCB() to determine whether I need to loop this URL using while loop (or) to call "web_stop_async" based on the response I get from server, but when the request fails at "HTTP-Time-Out" it stops from sending the request again and the flag will never be set and so the while loop keeps on running indefinitely.
What happens when a Async call faces "HTTP-Time-Out"? Does it follow a normal flow, or it will forcefully stop the Async by calling "web_stop_async"?

Using RDP protocol we are connecting to remote machine and from there we are running a Thick client application which is developed using 'Solarisis operating System'.
In RDP to enable synchronization functions we need to install 'RDP Server Agent' in Server so can you suggest me which Server Agent is required and from where we can get that Setup. I am using Load runner 11.52 version.

I already correlates all the tokens in SAP BI and all the transaction passed in vugen
but there was no activity in SAP BI end. I check the logs and this is the error

Hello,
I recorded a script with the protocol Ajax TruClient for Firefox protocol and when I try to launch it in load mode, VuGen freezes and any action is possible.
The only way is to stop the program throught the task manager. When I click on close the program button, a popup relative to VuGen appears. The following message is displayed : "Do you want to stop debugging ?" If I answer "Yes" nothing happens and same thing to "No"...
VuGen version is 11.52 Patch 1 (Build 5113) and is installed on a Windowd 7 SP1 64 bits operating system.
Could you help me on that ?

I am evaluating loadrunner 11 for a windows based client server application that is developed using visual studio 2012 >net framework 4.5 and uses windows communication foundation to talk to a middle tier service created using same technology and middle tier service talks to SQL server using ADO.Net. I tried to record some actions using .Net protocol however I am unable to replay as there are warnings about primary references:could not be resolved because it was built against the ".NETFramework,Version=v4.5" framework. This is a higher version than the currently targeted framework ".NETFramework,Version=v4.0". After doing some research I found out that Loadrunner 11 does not support .Net framework 4.5 as of now. Just wanted to know even after this support issue if I am able to record script will it make any difference if I try to create a custom filter to suit my application and give it a try or do I give up on using Loadrunner .Net protocol?

I´m recording a Oracle Forms script through an applet.
Once I get access the application from applet , VuGen stops recording actions , not even login.
I'm recording with Internet Explorer 9 ( x86). The installed JDK is 1.6.0_25 (x86 ) and Oracle Forms Applet version is 11.1.2.0 . VuGen version is 11.50 Build 2216.
I 've read in the Oracle NCA Vuser Guide that this config should be compatible, it´s OK?.
Could you give me any idea? where could be the problem when recording ?
