Is It Possible In Terms Of Bandwidth To Run Load Test From My Home Network
Hello Everyone,
I need to perform a load test using loadrunner to simulate load generated from external network (My home network) on servers placed in some organization in the same region.
The application which will be tested is a web site (Not Heavy one) which users can be logged into and get personal information.
Im very concerned that my home network bandwidth wouldn't be enough to generate the following load :
I need to simulate 250 Web concurrent users -which will perform about 30,000 transactions in an hour.
My home network specs and statistics:
Download - 75M - 7.5 Megabyte/sec
Upload - 3.5 M - 350Kbyte / sec
From your experience is this would be enough to generate the desired load? If not what can be done to simulate load from external network?

second user should select 3 products and so on
the products selected by diffrent vusers must be different

I need help to understand why I cannot set up wireless connection between controller and load generator.
I do not have any problem to connect my laptop to controller via wired connection. I work on the same LAN within company network. What need to be configured in order to set up wireless connection.

Average Response times
When i perform log in task on application, it takes about 2-3 seconds but when i perform the same scenario in loadrunner tool, it gives average response of more than 10 seconds?
Also while running above scenario multiple times, it has been noticed Average Response Time given by loadrunner is not always consistent. Sometimes it would be 10 seconds and for other run it would be 7 seconds.

LR 11.52 support for Windows Server 2012 install?
According to the documentation for our currnet LR install, the highest supported OS level is Windows Server 2008 R2 sp1. We are in the midst of a project to upgrade all servers (virtual) to Windows Server 2012 and I'm supposed to do a POC for LR on Windows Server 2012.
Is there support for this configuration, or is it recommended to go no further than Server 2008 for the controller?
If it's not supported, is there a timeline for support of this OS to occur?

Loadrunner VUgen recording issue
Hi All,
Am new to this forum. While recording, the events counter keeps increasing, but the generated script is empty. Am using below softwares to record script.
1. Loadrunner 9.10.
2. Google Chrome.
3. Using HTTP/HTML protocal
But when ever I use IE to record am able to getting successfull script generation. Please help me on this.

Loadrunner 11.52 XENAPP 6.5 and citrix.ica files
I am migrating from Loadrunner 11.04 to 11.52 Also our application will migrate to Win2008 citrix servers which will be run with XENAPP 6.5 (previous version 4.5)
Our current scripts migrate fine on 11.52 with the 2003 citrix servers but am unable to run using the .ica files on the XENAPP 6.5 servers. which are loadbalanced - I can get the ica file to work by pointing the Address directly to a citrix server but I want the farm server to decide which server to select. any solutions???

Loading error while replying, loadrunner quits Putty terminal
after running reply for terminal RTE I am getting error as shown in pic, how to remove it
in boot.ini in case of XP there I can change AlwaysOFF keyword solves problem but in WIn7 there is no boot.ini and some bcd file is there but what and where do I update to remove this error on permenent bases

VuGen & property window size problem
Hi,
I have just start to use Load Runner VuGen, and and I am building WebService call tests.
still the " Web Service Call Properties" window (the one where you can select input/output arguments option) size is smaller than it should be and does not allow me to select some options.
I cannot resize the window manually and so cannot do some actions without coding manually.
I have attached a screenshot.
Platform is Windows Server 2008 R2.
