Please let me know whether we can do the test with Loadrunner,Is there any additional plugins/Patch
has to be installed?
Does Loadrunner supports Both "Point-to-point model" and "Publish/subscribe model" JMS models?

Having an issue running existing scripts and getting Oracle EBS to launch java forms via IE when VUGen is open. Launching Oracle EBS java forms works fine when VUGen is not open. LR works fine on Win7 32 bit OS. We've tried 11.52 and 12.01 on the Win7 64 bit OS.
Is there a patch or manual config we need to do to get LR to work on the 64bit OS?

I'm load testing an ASP.NET application and have a question on correlating ViewState. If anyone can provide some advice or point me in the correct direction, it would be greatly appreciated.
I have the following scenario:
1) Web Request - inserts a new record in the database, a new primary key ID is created
2) The new PK ID is used in subsequent URL's in my recorded VuGen script
3) Correlating this new PK ID, replaces the recorded ID's properly in the Vugen script. This PK ID must be used for the rest of the script. Correlation works great with the ID's I can see in the script.
4) This is where the issue is. When playing back and tracing the database calls, I found out that the developer manually saved the PK ID in to viewstate. So when I trace the DB calls, I can see that the Originally recorded PK ID is being used in these calls to the database, which is incorrect as I want it to use the new PK ID every time this script runs for each VUser.
This is where my question is. Is there any way I can correlate the viewstate in order for the recorded script to replace/correlate the PK ID inside viewstate?

i am able to do recording in a java application but when i rerun/replay it, Loadrunner is complaining that Failed to find javac.exe Java Compiler and SDK installation folder in registry
i defined the java location in the Environment variables under System variables.
it seemed to even appear in the Recording Options > Classpath (where the jar files and location of the java is set)
i even copy the extracted files from C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\JRE6\bin
to c:\JDK\bin which is what LoadRunner is suggesting
what am i missing?
i am using JR6 (1.6.0_45)

We have LR 11.5 with 2500 Vuser licenses and there are 4 projects which are actively using those licenses.
We already purchased LR 12 license with which we have plans to move to LR 12 sooner.
We have 1 controller and 2 LGs on Virtual boxes
current challenges with Lr 11.5 are
1. There is space limitation faced often while running the test
2. Controller and Load generators are packed with components VuGen, analysis etc which leads to space limitation as well
3. Space issues are encountered much often which affects the generation of load
4. No Ticketing mechanism to log the defects particular to LR
5. No Timeslot mechanism for booking controller, LGs etc
In this case, for New environment for Lr 12 , to address these issues, what are the pointers i need to consider for an successful environment ahead.
1. Can we consider a physical servers instead of virtual boxes?
2. How the license utilization can be shared across teams or utilized effectively across projects?
3. Is TIMESLOT mechanism is available in LR 12?

We are encountering a strange behavious on LR 12 Vugen. The runtime proxy settings fails during replay resulting in proxy authentication errors when we try to access the url via a proxy server. All the options available on the proxy settings were chosen and verified. We are finding the same issue on all those options. However, the proxy setting on the browser (IE) seems to be all fine, and we are able to open the URL and do stuffs without issues, and the recording on Vugen is also fine as it happens on the
browser. So, obviously it should mean that there is no issues with the proxy settings.
Tried web_set_proxy, and web_set_user. Replay works once or twice in succession, and starts failing with the proxy authentication required exception after a gap of a minute or 2. All the setting are same, except that the scripts is executed by clicking the runbutton after a space of 2 minutes.
We reckon that the proxy settings are not properly being persisted by Loadrunner Vugen, and is lost. And, it reflects even when the script is put on the controller.
Have any one of you experienced similar problem? Any suggestion, please?
It is HTTP/HTTPS protocol.

How to restart MI Listener in PC 11.0
I have a web services script in Web (HTTP/HTML) protocol that is working in LR11.04. When I migrated it to LR11.52 and LR12.01, I am unable to run the script and is seeing "software cause connection abort" or "connection reset by peer" errors in various vms. I have set Network:Port Mapping to capture "Socket level and WinINet level data" and is not sure why is the error still showing up. Have anyone faced such issues before?

1. Manually user can login with their credentials to an internal application with FIrefox browser.
2. Problem: when trying to record our internal application with HTTP/HTML protocol with Load Runner v9.5.1 or Load Runner v11.0: after user logs in, recording never gets to next page("page 2") of our internal application. Events that LR records just stopts at certain point and never gets past loging. In short, cannot record our internal application using HTTP/HTML protocol.
Our other internal applications can be recorded successfully with HTTP/HTML protocol.

When i am trying to save my test i am getting following error message "number of concurrent runs has reached project limit" and "Number of vusers requested by this and other concurrent time slot (2) exceeds the project limit(0). Could you please help me out to resolve this issue.

I have following services:
1. Login
2. Search
3. Add Address
4. Logout
Each service is correlated with another service. I want to run all this webservices in a single transaction using WEB_CUSTOM_REQUEST.
How can I do the same?

Well, I am trying to run a script which is created in TruCLient Firefox protocol. The script is fine and running in Vugen but not in Performance Center.
It wasn’t even getting to the first transaction which is the Login. I tried to modify the Step > End Event to Action Completed. No help.
And then I realized, in normal running, every time I enter the application to a new browser. I am redirected to a webpage stating that there is a problem in security certificate. And I just select "Continue to this website." every time. And then I am directed to the login page of the application.
I am assuming that this might be the cause. The security certificate page might be blocking the script to continue running.
Is there a way I can turn it off and Perf Center just bypass that.
I downloaded LoadRunner 12.01 Community Edition and attempted to install it. The exact file name is HP_LoadRunner_12_Community_Edition_T7177-15058.exe
When running the installer (I have to run as administrator and login with my admin account), it extracts all its files to C:\temp\HP\LoadRunner12-01 and then starts the installation wizard. After clicking through the installation agreement, it starts installing and gets to the step where it's validating install, but then an error message pops up with the text "Overlapped I/O operation is in progress".
I've tried uninstalling my previous LoadRunner and deleting the program folders but still get the same message.

I installed Loadrunner 11.5 on a Win7 machine. When I try to create a sample script on HP exercise page "http://127.0.0.1:1080/WebTours/index.htm" , the process counter counts until 2, and any other operation is not being counted.
After logging on, I select "flights" and book a ticket, edit my information and then sign -off, but replay stops when the web page is diplayed.
I attached a screenshot for further clarification.
Could you please help me with this ? Any help will be appreciated.

i have a Java Application that needs to be recorded. so far the loading of the Java Application is being captured by loadrunner but when you perform the business process (login etc) all i get is just transaction headers

Recently we upgraded VuGen 9.52 to 11.52 and Flex protocol scripts developed using 9.52 are no longer working in 11.52.
I recorded the script using 11.52 and generated the script using additional jar files given by development team, all the requests are generated properly however I am seeing double values in the response for example, loan Id is 1234.0 instead of 1234, so if I capture the this loan id and pass to subsequent request application throws number format exception. it's expecting just 1234 not 1234.0
We raised a ticket with HP and the response copied below.
your application used Flex-sdk-3.1.0.2710 and Java 1.6.0_37, those were supported by LR 9.52. Now, in LR your application need to use Flex SDK 4.6.
So I am wondering 11.52 supports Flex SDK 4.6 and not lower version 3.1?
let me know if anyone has faced this issue?

We have encountered an issue on the LR 12 Vugen replay going through a proxy.
These are the steps that we took,
1. Record a script over a proxy server on I.E browser - Goes well.
2. Immediately Replay with the Proxy Custom Settings (Same proxy details as on I.E is on Vugen) - Works well.
3. Wait for 3 or more minutes
4. Replay again - Fails with errors (Proxy Authentication Required). All the settings remain the same on Vugen.
5. Open the I.E browser, access any website (same proxy server setting).
6. Now replay on Vugen - Works again, goes well.
Very odd! Liasoning with the network team here, we inferred that the VUGen might be authenticating for the first time by sending in the proxy settings, and after a idle period it sends the proxy settings on request no more. But, the proxy server is still expecting the authentication details. I am not sure where the problem rests, but would like someone to comment.
However, when we enable WinInet option in the runtime preferences, it works without any issue. However, it has been stated that winInet is not scalable, and might have issues under heavy load.
Any idea on where to look to fix this issue is greatly appreciated.
