Hi,

 

We are currently working on the Oracle Hyperion application performance testing. The recorded script runs successfully without any issues but the update is not happening in the application. 

 

We have correlated CtrlState, viewstate, afrloop in the request body but unsure about any other possible correlations in the script.

Hi experts,

I am unable to record the application by using citrix protocol(Citrix ICA),

 

Vgen verstion is:11.04

citrix Xen app:4

 

I am using the ICA file, upto login page its good after that it shows a blank blue screen Please let

me know if u know any ideas about the same.

I hope you can help me with this.

 

We have BSM BPM version 9.22, runnning in our Prod environment.

Please note BSM uses VuGen scripts for monitoring purpose.

 

The issue is similar to this one.

There is an issue where the agent adds auto_headers while executing WEB/Html scripts. This is causing issues on the WAF (Web Application Firewall) and requests are being rejected and hence not able to implement monitoring. The headers added are mentioned below.

 

Please can somebody let me know how to avoid these being added by the BPM agent? I looked in the run time settings etc, nothing obvious.

Hi,

 

Can load runner be used to test a java desktop application that isn't a server to anything (runs by itself and "only talks to itself")? Say, record and playback a javafx desktop application's actions, or an engine that executes tasks?

 

If yes, then please can I have clear pointers as to how to do so because currently I am only able to launch the application using load runner but no actions whatsoever are being recorded.

 

I'm using the Java Record Replay protocol.

I am having issues when I try to record through 64 bit compatible protocol( Oracle 2- Tier)

 

When I select Windows Application in 64-bit and select path to application's exe file for 'program to analyze',

I get the error:

 

The "Auto Detect" protocol(s) cannot record on 64-bit applications in multi mode.

 

 

If I start recording without analyzing protocol , the recorded step's events are not captured and no script is written.

Please let me know the fix to this issue.

Hello,

 

I'm trying to record test script for Flexcube Corporate application.
Software versions are: VuGen - 12.00, Flexcube Corporate - 7.3 and Oracle Fusion Middleware - 11g.
I've created Multiprotocol script with combination of Web - HTTP/HTML and Oracle NCA protocols, but VuGen records only to Web part (login page). It does not record any actions after Java Applet is opened.

Can anybody help?

Hi,

 

When I try to record a script using the Tru Client for IE protocol I get the below error messages:

 

I have IE 11 installed on my machine. 

 

1) Once I Click Develop Script I get error : "In order to edit an Ajax TruClient IE script you must have Internet Explorer 9,10  or 11 installed on your machine."

 

Once I click OK I get the below error:

 

2) VUGen could not start TruClient browser to enable you to develop your script. 

 

I have installed LR12 on Windows 7 professional ,  have IE 11 & Chrome installed. 

 

Note: I haven't been given full admin access on my PC and there is some restriction to my IE settings. I have also tried recording using TruClient for Firefox and I can actually record but some of the components are not visible hence why I need IE Truclient. 

 

Any help woudl be much appreciated.

Hi All, I am getting an isssue in Vugen as it is not being initialized as getting the message as "HP Virtual User Generator (Not Responding)". its open a blank screen.

while after forcefully stop Vugen on windows event log i am getting like "The program vugen.exe version 11.0.0.8859 stopped interacting with Windows". 

 

Version: LR11.0

OS: Windows7(32bit)

Is there something LR does to prevent/allow server-side caching?

 

We have proxies in front of our application servers which cache some static content. When we visit from a browser pages which serve that content, we get the expected "304 Not Modified" responses. However, when we run the LR scripts to the same pages, the requests go all the way back to our application servers (which don't cache and thus return the content and 200).

 

Thus, I suspected that LR might not be sending appropriate request headers to allow the proxy to returned cached content. Is that possible?

Please help to advise if SAPGUI Protocol Support for SAP Single Sign On (SSO) and how to support the SSO certificate-based logon?

 

When recording a certificate-based SSO connection, it is scripted in the same way as a user/password log on (sapgui_logon function). User has a requirement to test the performance of SAPGUI including SSO for multiple users, is there any workaround available (eg. by manual scripting)?

 

Here is the script for logon by SSO as user/password format:

Hello Community,

 

I have created a Load Script using LR11.52 on Oracle 11g ADF Web Application and while replaying it i am not running into any issues as it is showing that it is successfully passed but the issue is that the data is not getting commited.

 

I will really appreciate if someone can guide me as to what might be the problem and how to fix it. I have correlated the  session ID.

I had a test bring down a web site and the VU's kept running and posting errors: 31K. What's the best approach to stopping the VU's/Test when that condition is hit.

I have a LR script that uploads random files out of a directory. How is this done so that I can use Performance Center?

Do I include the folder in the VUGen script folder and then change the path in the script?

I am attempting to use Loadrunner for the performance testing of a website that uses PKI/CAC for user login.  Is it possible to run a performance test using Loadrunner with multiple users, each utilizing a different soft cert?  In the user guide it states that an X.509 certificate can be added to a VuGen script, but I'm not sure if this is something that can be parameterized for multiple users.  Thanks!

Hello,

 

I am running a test using a TruClient script (using TC + IE10) and in the runtime settings I have snapshot on error set. Whenever an arror occurs, a snapshot is created, but the snapshot does not contain a picture of the GUI, instead it's just all black. This is always the case and fully reproduceable.

 

I also tried it with RT settings "always generate sanpshot", and in that case the snapshot are still black, but sometimes with a red rectangular somewhere on the screen. See attachments

 

This way snapshots are of not much use. Is there a way to fix this?

 

I am running HP Performance Center 11.52 patch 1 with TruClient + IE10

Hi All,

 

I am working with IBM BPM applciation. While replaying the script I am getting below error- Attempted read from an unconnected socket (empty response, no HTTP headers received). URL="https:xxxx" and sometime SSL error. Both are intermittent. Please let me know if anyone has any idea.

I am getting an error:
"usbdvmweb902:80": [10060] Connection timed out [MsgId: MERR-27796]
I recorded click on the "Report" tab and it took some time before the screen was changed.
When I replayed I got this time out error when request was redirected to a different server.
This error does not persist Sometime I was able to complete running the script without errors.

Web server re-directing the call to another server.

I set Keep-Alive timeout to 9999 seconds and it seemed was working but next day I start getting this error again

I'am not sure if this error the result of system configuration or something else.

Can you help me to make LR wait until it got connection.
