Can you record more than one expected outcome in a VUGen script (LR 11.5)?
Hi,
Is it possible to record more than one expected outcome in a script for e.g. when a correlation parameter is not found? I have a Web HTML/HTTP script which tests the Search functionality of an application. Search criteria has been parameterised and is read randomly from a csv file. If a search result is found, a link to the record is displayed in the search results as a hyperlink. I have manually correlated this hyperlink value as it is dynamic. There may be times when no match is found, in which case no hyperlink will appear on the page. Instead text will appear stating that no match has been found. My question is whether it is possible to add a condition for cases when the correlated parameter does not exist in the response data?
Any help would be appreciated.

I am using LR 12.01 with single protocol - windows sockets.
Error (pp_init): Failed to load data file
Warning: Extension wsrun32.dll reports error -1 on call to function ExtPerProcessInitialize
Error: Thread Context: Call to service of the driver failed, reason - thread context wasn't initialized on this thread.
I did google it and I am using NEW SCRPIT. did not resolve the problem
any idea on this ?

Is Loadrunner 12.01 compatible with SiS 11.23?
Hi,
Is Loadrunner 12.01 compatible with SiS 11.23? I am currently getting protocol errors when running a web script monitor. I have been told to use an older version of LR (9.51 or older). I have tried that (8.1) and I still get the protocol error.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Getting Error: Vuser failed to initialize extension parameng.dll in v12.01
Hi,
I've recorded a webservice script in Vugen 12.01 installed on one of our BPM probes (OS: Windows server 2012 R2 x64). I then moved it to my PC (OS: Windows 7 Enterprise SP1 x64). When i replay the script in Vugen (from the full LR 12.01 DVD) on my PC i get the error:

On the BPM probe parameng.dll is located in ...
C:\Program Files (x86)\HP\Virtual User Generator\bin
and my PC the parameng.dll is located in ...
C:\Program Files (x86)\HP\LoadRunner\bin
I did try to create the ...\HP\Virtual User Generator\bin folder with a copy of parameng.dll on my PC, but the problem persists.
Any help i greatly appreciated.

If we peak at 50 active users although we are licensed for and have 800+ logged on, wouldn't 50 VUsers be able to simuate the load ?

HP Load Runner - controller Upgrade version issue for citrix protolcol

I am performance testing for thick client application installed on citrix server with citrix protocol.
I am able to record and rerun the script in Vugen but when try to execute in Controller , i am getting error
Your Current client Version is 12.1.0.30.please upgrade to version 6.30.1060.

Something went wrong error while searching on SharePoint 2013 - Ajax TruClient-Vugen 11
Hi,
We are getting something went wrong error when we search on SharePoint 2013 application.Search result is being displayed in higher version of firefox and IE.
We also tried updating firefox and record the application but Truclient add on is not compatible with higher version of firefox.
Please help if anyone have any solution.

LoadRunner VUSER Recordings
Hello all,
First off, I'm new to LR so apologies if my question seems a little uneducated.
I have recorded a script that adds data to a database. When I replay the script within VUSER the data is added to the data table, as I expect.
However, when I run the script within Controller to load test, the script runs and provides stats, but no data is added to the data table. I was expecting to see some additional rows in the table once the scenarios runs.
My question is, should data be added?

Ajax truclient Firefox- Vugen 11 - Transaction not failed on object not found error
Hi,
We have developed a script in HP LoadRunner Vugen 11 using Ajax Truclient protocol. When we run the script in performance center we can see error message "targer object not found" there but it is not failing transaction.
So in results failed transaction = 0 and errors = 20 (for eg.)
Performance center version - 11.0
Please reply if there is any setting needs to be done in Step options.

Excluding a java script being triggered in the background
I have a Java Script that triggers the Web Analytics counters in one of my websites. I need to prevent this from being triggered. There are 2 variants – 1 is an embedded script in the html page requested, and the 2nd is a .JS script file that is
requested as a resource. In both cases i need to prevent the execution of this javascript code which triggers the counter for the web analytics.
Need help on this please.

How to get ID of SAPGUI active window?
Good day.
I creating script for SAP, and take some kind of problem with it.
First, I need to exit vuser properly, when error happen, so I use "sapgui_window_close".
But before exit, SAP ask confirmation, and it's a new window, whith button "Yes".
To press a button, I need use "sapgui_select_active_window" with properly ID.
That's a problem, I don't know ID of that window.
It may be from 1 to 3, because of other error windows.
Now, I just selected window in cycle, check if "yes" button exist and press it, but it's a tree of if() statements which look awful.
So question is: how to know active window ID?

Hi All,
1)I run the scripts using VU Controller. I get the basic statistics showing passed transactions and failed transactions.
However, I am not sure whether the correct page is hitting (in other words correct response is getting from the
server.)
Similarly, how to get the failed transactions
2) Also, snapshot view is disabled in VU Generator. Though I have "Snapshot=t1.inf", in the code.

VuGen recording fails when we initialize for Web- http/html solution
Hi, I have installed 11.52 Patch1 VuGen on windows server 2008 R2. Recording fails abruptly when we initialize for Web- http/html solution without any logs/error codes.

WIN RT appliaction compatibility in LR 12.01
I have a WIN RT app which needs to be installed in a local system. from there it connects to API. Does LR 12.01 support WIN RT app. If yes then how to connect Vugen to app. It doesnt have URL or .exe. Its a metro app command line.
